The following College Now courses have prerequisites. If your course does not have a prerequisite, skip to Step 3.

     • Transcripts (GPA / ACT Score)

1. • • ACT Scores--Sign in to www.act.org to access your student account, or call 1.877.789.2925. Please screenshot your full name with your ACT score to JCCC. Please click on the drop down menu to show your full name in the screen shot.

     • AP Scores--Sign in to your College Board account or call 1.866.630.9305 and send your score to JCCC 

STEP 3

Enroll with CRNs through the student portal. 

*College Algebra CRNs and enrollment will also be available by teacher.

• Enroll: Go to jccc.edu and click “Login”

  • Log in to MyJCCC  (Issues? Call  (913) 469-3803 (Option 2--Enroll)

    • →Find "Enroll and Pay" Click the blue Add/Drop Classes link 

    • →Click "Add/Drop Classes" 

    • →Select the term “Credit Fall” for fall semester or year long courses or “Credit Spring” for spring semester courses.  

    • →Click the second TAB “Enter CRNs” on the top left  

    • →Enter the five-digit CRN numbers for your courses 

    • →Click Add 

    • →Click Agree & Submit (at the bottom)

    • Confirm that your courses show a status of “Registered” to ensure your enrollment was successful. You are not fully registered until you pay!

Pay by Deadline. Tuition is due at the time of enrollment. $101/credit hour (~$303/class)

4. • Pay online. Login to MyJCCC→Select My Finances (on left menu)→ There should be an option to set up a payment plan.

4. • Students who demonstrate need can apply for a College Now/College Algebra Grant. Grants will be awarded in October.

College Now/College Algebra Grant Students who demonstrate need can apply for the College Now grant. Grants will be awarded in October and again in the spring. 

Grant Application Deadline: February 14, 2025 by 5 p.m.

GRANT$ for College Now and Quick Step+ College Algebra are awarded on a first come, first served and need basis (free/reduced lunch and hardship). If awarded (mid-October and mid-February), the grant will cover up to two classes at the full tuition rate. 

Students may apply for the grant in the spring and in the fall!
