Career Ready Programs
SENIORS ONLY Get a head start in the industrial technology field with JCCC's Career Ready Program. Here is what you need to know:
Deadline: Conversations start with student's high school counselor. DEADLINE: February 10th of Junior Year
FREE Tuition: Classes are FREE to high school students (Excel in CTE), but students are responsible for other associated costs such as equipment or books. After graduation, students must pay for classes, but the Kansas Promise Scholarship might be a good option for post-graduates.
Transportation: Students must provide their own transportation to JCCC.
Cohort Model: Many programs operate in cohorts, meaning students will spend an entire morning or afternoon at JCCC. Students can still take a class or two at SMNW.
Sports Eligibility: Students are still eligible to play sports at SMNW as long as they meet the minimum class requirement.
