The students of 5th and 6th grade have started this term the best way possible, at farm camp! We had a great time; we finally could enjoy and play together in another place than at the school. We had some amazing monitors that were like our teachers there, they taught us about the characteristics of the animals on the farm, about the importance of taking care of our planet, and many more things. They also were very friendly at any activity and game we did.
A day at farm camp started early because we couldn’t waste any minute, we got dressed and have breakfast. After this, we had a little moment of praying and we were ready to start the activities. Some of these activities could be more creative like theatre, crafts, or theory classes; more adventurous ones like the zip-line, the climbing wall, aerobic, archery, or horse riding; and there were some more connected with the animals. We saw so many animals: donkeys, horses, dogs, goats, pigs, rabbits, sheep, and some birds as well, as hens, turkeys, or even emus. As you see we did a lot of things, but we still had time for playing in the evenings and nights games as fun as virus, Cluedo, zombie night, or other adventurous activities.
It has been a wonderful experience! The best of all is that we have improved our English while learning many other things and we were having fun all the time. I am sure everyone is looking forward to repeating as soon as possible. Thanks, Farm Camp for such a fantastic week!
