Hi everyone! My name is Vincent Frasca and I am the new
English language assistant at Santa María de la Providencia.
This is my third year teaching English in Madrid and I have loved my time in Spain thus far.I was born in Los Angeles, California but I spent the majority of my life growing up in Winter Park, Florida. I was fortunate to have great parents who provided a great childhood for my sister and I. Some of my favorite hobbies are:
watching/playing soccer, traveling, cooking, hiking, going to museums, etc.
Although my time in Spain has been interrupted by Covid-19, I’ve been quite fortunate to see a lot of Spain while living here. During the past two summers, I have taken several road trips throughout Spain with my girlfriend and we have fallen in love with the countryside. The landscape of Spain is so diverse and beautiful. Some of my favorite places in Spain are Asturias (Picos de Europa), Tossa de Mar, and Cabo de Gata.
The past couple of months at SMP have been great
and I’ve truly enjoyed my time here. During the past
two years in Madrid, I would see SMP on my
commute to teach in Camarma de Esteruelas and I
always thought it looked like a nice place to teach.
Everyone at SMP, the students, teachers, and staff,
have been so helpful and nice during my time here.
I was able to experience my first ‘Dia de la
Providencia’ and it was a wonderful event that
encapsulates everything that this school is about..
They really make the school feel like a friendly
environment and I’m looking forward to the next half
of the school year and everything it has to offer.
