Chinese New Year

Nursery really enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. They helped to create a Chinese Restaurant, learned songs, made , money wallets and a dragon's head. They performed the dragon dance in the outdoor area whilst singing and playing musical instruments. Nursery discussed phonics books and learned lots about the kinds of foods that people from different cultures enjoy, how children living in different countries travel to school and what their schools look like. We finished off our week of celebrations be engaging in a food tasting activity.
