Owls arrived for our key groups and additional copies of the books for the children the read themselves.

The children talked about their favourite colours whilst engaging in circle-time with the owls .

The children had a copy each of 'Colours' during our group reading session.

They made informed predictions of what the colour word said and learned so much about the properties of a book.
