Dear Parents/Guardians:
As of 3:00 pm on Friday, March 13th, San Luis Coastal Unified School District (SLCUSD) has been placed on an emergency shutdown. During this district closure, the SLCUSD Food Services Department will provide an opportunity for ALL FAMILIES to drive thru and pick up meals, at no charge, for all the children in their family/present in vehicle. These meals will be available for free for anyone 18 and under regardless of what school they attend or if they are on the meal program. No paperwork is required. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided. Meals will be provided based on the number of children present. All children will be provided a lunch for the day and a breakfast for the following day. Meals will be served between 11am and 1pm, Monday through Friday, in the bus loop at the following school sites:
Morro Bay High School (Front of School), Los Osos Middle School, Laguna Middle School, Del Mar Elementary, Baywood Elementary, Hawthorne Elementary (Front of School), CL Smith Elementary, Pacheco Elementary Teach Elementary Sinsheimer Elementary
The program will be solely for the pick up of meals and meals will not be consumed on site. We encourage families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by not congregating at the school site once meals have been distributed, continue to wash your hands often, sneeze or cough into a tissue and stay home if you are sick.
