Are there any historical precedents? Traditional left wing thinking goes immediately to the political big guns Marx; Engel; Lenin et al, their ideas only prove of political worth if culled as a consequence of practical experience.

Lessons must always be learnt from the history already created by our forbears. Personally the Socialist Societies that the people will create in these islands can only emanate from and be based on their own history and culture.

From my own political perspective there is absolutely no call for ‘The Leaders and The Lead’ of people looking to others to tell them what to think or do.

There are however figures who prove key to understanding our own capacity to thought and deed and the ability to actually getting things done. Thomas Paine; James Connolly; Jim Larkin; John Maclean; George Orwell, are key figures indeed in their own way iconic characters who helped their fellow humanity realize their own strengths and abilities to cope with and surmount apparently insuperable obstacles.

My own personal consideration as to the way forward is to take a pragmatic approach, starting from the present {Saturday 5th November 2016} reality, and proceed through realistically achievable stages, towards the ultimately desired objective.

Of course the actual 1st Stage from here, for the individual 'Countries' of Great Britain/United Kingdom is for Independence. I have no intention of underestimating the difficulties involved, on the contrary its essential to fully comprehend the problems, to have any hope of countering them. This page is for an outline of general ideas and principles, rather than waste my efforts by duplicating information, I will use the individual pages to concentrate on the specific issues related to each 'Country' within the megalith that is Great Britain/United Kingdom.
