Welsh NOT Serfs

Make this Prince of Wales The LAST Ever

WELSH SOCIALIST REPUBLIC

1st Step: Independence

2nd Step: Republic

3rd Step: Socialist Republic

Realistically the case for Welsh independence has to be made and worked for, it won't happen overnight. It can be achieved by having enough Welsh MP's, in Parliament, OR by English parties glad to see the back of Wales.

The Tories don't need Wales. Labour DOES, WHY?

Labour can't get a working majority in Westminster without WALES & SCOTLAND. If Labour had the support in England then they could do without Wales. But the Labour Party believes in the Union, and only ever consider their overall majority in this English Parliament. For the Labour Party, their Parties in Wales and Scotland only exist to enable that overall objective

Its for England and the English to sort out their problems for themselves.

Voting Labour in Wales and electing Labour MP's increases Labour numbers in Westminster. But what does it actually do for the Welsh and Wales?

How can this bring Welsh independence any closer?

Labour will continue as always, paddling its own political canoe, it needs to be persuaded by the Welsh people to do anything for anyone other than itself.

EU & BREXIT

EU REFERNDUM

The EU Referendum was not about whether the United Kingdom remains United But this was thrown up as a red herring in the alleged ‘Debate’, as a bogey, a reason given to Remain in the European Union.

People were meant to be scared at the very prospect of a diss-membered United Kingdom, this was postulated as an horrendous dystopian vision of the future.

Well why the heck should that be the case? Such scaremongering tactics was regrettably all to common currency during the entire Referendum process.

It was introduced as a distraction but lets make it an issue, lets push that cliched envelope.

What is actually wrong with the consideration of breaking up the Diss-United Kingdom? Why exactly should Wales and Scotland NOT achieve full and absolute Independence?

WALES REFERENDUM VOTE

Was this narrow margin in favour of an EU Exit in Wales a success for the new UKIP members in the Welsh Assembly OR was it more the Welsh people speaking from the heart?

I am now a resident of Wales and Voted Leave, I am a republican socialist aiming for a Welsh Socialist Republic run by and for the Welsh people.

NOT a Diss-United Kingdom In OR Out of Europe, run by and in the interests of global banks and big business.

What next for Wales' European funding?

Wales did well out of the EU and it would be wondered why it voted to Leave it. This improved after the setting up of the Welsh Assembly enabling Wales to achieve a better economic standing than it enjoyed when it was completely governed directly by the Westminster Government.

So how will Wales fare with the UK out of the EU?

BREXIT

My prognosis is that it will probably revert to the pre Wales Assembly state of having to stand in line behind Scotland and England’s regions alongside the 6 Counties of Northern Ireland for fiscal charity as its always been considered by Westminster Governments. RIP EU for Wales?

First importantly is the Question: What is the position of the principle mainstream independence party Plaid Cymru regarding the EU?

Plaid Cymru is currently wedded to the EU, which is why it prefers Remain as a Brexit option, and will try and have any Brexit Deal reversed. With the ambition for a 2nd Referendum, to hopefully overturn Brexit.

Why is this? Because the Welsh Assembly gave Wales more than a better deal within the UK. The minimal Wales autonomy, meant that Wales received more money from the EU, on a basis of a higher regional priority.

Plaid Cymru feel that while Wales exists within the United Kingdom, the UK should Remain within the European Union, so that Wales can still get the EU Regional Support Funds. Plaid Cymru’s gripe regarding Leaving the EU, is that Wales will lose out on these Extra Funds, and that the British Government may not replace it, by increasing the funds that Wales receive as part of the UK.

What is urgently needed is a full blooded all out campaign for complete Wales Independence. And not the somewhat apologetic our day has not yet come but with patience and fortitude it will one fine day, of Plaid Cymru.

This idea that it will happen when it happens, has I feel left Plaid Cymru behind where I think it could and should be in the minds of the Welsh public.

UKIP should never ever have been able to gain even a minute toehold anywhere in Wales, instead of hoping and waiting for them to implode.

Plaid Cymru should have been much more proactive in putting its own foot forward.

It is not too late the moment should be seized firmly by the scruff of its neck,

and all those who believe in Wales Independence should stand up and be counted, the Campaign must start here and now.

WALES EU EXIT RESULTS

WELSH EU EXIT POLE

Gives a slim majority for Exit, compared to Scotland's, and the 6 Counties of Northern Ireland with a EU Vote of a slim majority to Remain.
Their considerations will now be totally
disregarded unless the SNP can force another Referendum for Scotland, but how would the Scots people take yet another Election?

What difference will an EU Exit make to Wales?

What did Wales actually get from Britain's EU membership?

After the Welsh Assembly was set up Wales was regarded as more of a 'Region' within Britain as far as the EU was concerned, with the benefit of extra fiscal funding. Which is why political parties such as Plaid Cymru favour Wales being in the European Union, with the

consideration that full membership will entitle Wales to an increased financial expenditure.

So it appears to follow that with a British EU Exit Wales will lose out financially, in all probability reverting to its status under Britain's Pre Common Market membership.

So all in all a totally negative end result?

NOT A BIT OF IT. WHY?

Wales have had to endure less than 2nd class status fiscally as part of Britain, being labelled lower than English Regions, and Scotland.
This changed minimally courtesy of the Welsh
Assembly, and Wales have managed to squeeze concessions from the Westminster

Government, and no doubt Plaid Cymru were up for the continual arm wrestle to hopefully secure more.

Now there should be absolutely NO excuse for putting up with Wales present status within Britain, Full and Absolute Independence MUST not only be on the Agenda, but it must be THE AGENDA, no more Ifs &/Or Buts, with absolutely no excuses. NO time to wait Now OR Never.

Welsh Assembly Elections

Friday 6th May

WELSH ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS: My 1st viewing coverage of it for the 1st time makes for interesting viewing, especially at any consideration of UKIP being taken seriously or of them getting anywhere. Consideration of anyone thinking of Tories as any kind of an alternative is mind boggling as Tories should have been seen for what they are from experience of them in Westminster over a Coalition Government and now a minority Government. Have to ask how much more of these characters do people have to put up with before they wake up to reality?

Monday 25th April

WELSH ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS: Hotting up just seen Labour Party AM Candidate, missed him when he came last and next door neighbour got his window poster, surprised he didn't ask if I wanted one. Got my KONP Vote NHS Poster {from 2015 General Election} in my door now should have put it up before the others got here. He was keen to press the flesh obviously wants to ensure he picks up as many votes as possibly, made great play of saying a Vote for Plaid may mean the Tories sneaking in, and that a family of Plaid supporters had agreed to support him to keep the Tory out. Finally filled in my Postal Vote forms apart from Police Commissioner with a query of the 1st & 2nd Preferences, will post in a day or so.

Welsh Assembly cash paid into fraudulent bank account

BBC WELSH NEWS 23 September 2014

The money was paid over a four-month period by the Assembly

Commission which is the corporate body for the National Assembly for

Wales. Its public accounts committee was told police are investigating

and an arrest had been made. The incident is thought to be an isolated

one. Commission member Peter Black told committee members on

Tuesday that £71,000 was paid into the fraudulent account in during the

2013-14 financial year, and the remainder was paid this year. He said it

was "highly unlikely" the commission would recover the money.

Members were told it was an isolated incident and the commission

was strengthening controls around the way it records and verifies

data supplied by outside bodies. Claire Clancy, Chief Executive and

Clerk of the National Assembly for Wales, said: "The strengthened

controls will help to ensure the integrity of our payments system and

minimise risks from external sources". An assembly spokesman said it

could not give any further information about the bank account or what

the money was intended to pay for while police were investigating.

WESTMINSTER

As an example here is my own political predicament I reside in a BLUE area entitled Aberconwy, the current Westminster M.P. is a Tory Guto Bebb To indicate his own colour and his political direction of travel he moved from Plaid Cymru, here is a direct quote about him from Wickipedia.

Bebb is a former Plaid Cymru activist and was chair of the party in Caernarfon.[3] He defected to the Conservatives because of his Eurosceptic views. Bebb first stood for the Conservatives in 2002 when he contested the safe Labour seat of Ogmore in 2002 by-election caused by the death of the veteran MP Sir Raymond Powell. He finished in fourth place many votes behind the victor, Huw Irranca-Davies. He stood again in the 2003 Welsh Assembly election in which he was a candidate in the now-defunct constituency of Conwy. He came third, behind Labour and Plaid Cymru.

At the 2005 general election he stood again in Conwy, this time coming second behind Labour.

In the 2010 general election, boundary changes led to the creation of a new constituency called Aberconwy, based on the former Conwy. Bebb was selected as the Conservative candidate for this new seat.

The Conservatives won the seat and Bebb was returned as the MP for Aberconwy with a majority of 3,398 or 11.3%.

I have included this large chunk of Guto Bebb machinations to both show the political situation in my own new back yard, and as an indication of the shifting sands of Welsh politics.

Welsh History

Usually early Welsh history is skipped over in a few words and no real mention is made of any Welsh society prior to the Celts, while they are sketched over in a purely peremptory manner. A typical example is the Wales Cymru website their History of Wales has to be one of the briefest available. My object here is to attempt a more thorough approach though with no pretence at being anything definitive.

Pre-History: History relates to the story of the people who inhabit the land.

Pre refers to the land itself before people existed to spoil it, therefore the lands story.

Geology in layman's terms is the science of the very rocks that comprise the land itself, it can provide an understanding of the lands development through the course of time itself. A useful reference point is the British Geological Survey. The B.G.S. has Geological Survey Reports of all of the 'Regions' of Great Britain available by download to all those agreeing with their Guidelines of use. For these purposes I have simply extracted the Welsh

geology information available in 2 files, Wales and The Welsh Borderland, I will now use details from them as appropriate. I have added both of them at the bottom of this webpage, please feel free to download them for your use.

Wales Geology: Ynys Mon <Anglesey> 'Landscape formed by ice' this is an example of the BGS info about Ynys Mon, to access it and learn about the Geology use the BGS Interactive Map in both Welsh and English, just click on the 'Links' {Ynys Mon & interactive Anglesey i-Map}

During the last ice age the island of Anglesey in north-west Wales lay beneath a thick ice sheet that flowed down the Irish Sea. After the ice melted away it left a distinctive 'footprint' on Anglesey in the form of gently rolling landforms and glacial sediments. The {BGS} interactive Anglesey i-Map shows the landforms and sediments, and provides summaries of how the main glacial features (striae, drumlins, meltwater channels) were formed.

BGS Wales Secret Geology Spots Explore Wales:

Pontneddfechan |SN 915 080 | nearest town Glyn-neath, South Wales{CLICK LINK FOR STREETMAP}

The Pontneddfechan area combines outstanding natural landscape features with a diverse industrial heritage. The Carboniferous limestones, mudstones and sandstones have been fractured and twisted, giving rise to steep-faced crags and spectacular waterfalls and caves, and are host to abandoned mine entrances and quarries. According to local folklore King Arthur and his knights still slumber in an underground chamber awaiting the call to rise again and rescue Britain from the scourge of the Saxons.

Llanddwyn Island | SH 390 630 | nearest town Newborough, Ynys Mon, North Wales {CLINK LINK FOR STREETMAP}

The rocky foreshore around the tidal island of Llanddwyn displays spectacular examples of ancient pillowed and fragmented rocks which formed when lava enters the ocean. These features bear testimony to the power of plate tectonic forces and the destruction of an ancient ocean floor; a fitting geological backdrop for a place, which according to Welsh mythology, was home to the tragic St Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers.

The Welsh landscape developed as the remainder of these islands with its people evolving in a similar manner to those populating these adjoining land masses.

The crude yardstick oft used to cite societal development is Stone Age; Bronze Age; Iron Age. These simply mark the technological nature of society, each Age lasting for 1000's of years with virtually an indeterminate start and end dates, each Age evolving into into the next, specific development especially in the earlier Ages relying as much on the Geological geography of an area as any other cause.

Stone Age relates to the use of tools fashioned from Stone, its people are simplistically known as Cavemen, this is ridiculous for the simple reason that there was not enough Caves available to house even the greatly diminished population. People would need to use whatever materials that laid to hand to make their habitation, and were very likely nomadic by necessity depending largely on the prevailing climatic and geological conditions.

Bronze Age marks societies cultural change as well as the technical abilities in working with metals to produce food vessels and ornaments.

Iron Age denotes the capacity to work extensively with iron to manufacture structures such as bridges etc.

Beaker People; Approximately 4,500 years ago marks the first arrival of these people who are considered to be the earliest immigrants to these shores, this is determined from geological finds, and the name comes from their distinctive drinking vessels. They emanated from Western Europe with their societal influences spanning the late Stone Age and early Bronze Ages through to roughly 3,700 years ago. I had initially assumed that their numbers and thereby their impact was minimal. But by more recent research it now transpires that there was a flourishing trade across 'Europe' to these shores in the Bronze Age. In all probability making the influx of Beaker People greater and more influential than I had presumed. They were also technically proficient at Bronze manufacture, and their arrival would have augmented the skills and knowledge available, possibly helping to 'Kick Start' the Bronze Age development in these entire islands.

Classification of pottery in Ireland and Britain has distinguished a total of seven intrusive[44]beaker groups originating from the continent and three groups of purely insular character having evolved from them.

Five out of seven of the intrusive Beaker groups also appear in Ireland: the European bell group, the All-over cord beakers, the Northern British/North Rhine beakers, the Northern British /Middle Rhine beakers and the Wessex/Middle Rhine beakers. {Wickipedia} NB! these 'Areas' eg Wessex are of current usage <2014> as in Stone & Bronze Ages there were no Regional or National borders or boundaries.

These points will stand for now as the start of my Historical dissertation to be extended anon.
