Kyabye Khensur Tamding Gyatso Rimpoché
Kyabye Khensur Tamding Gyatso Rimpoché nació en Kham (Tíbet) en el año 1926. Realizó sus estudios en Ganden Shartse, una de las tres principales Universidades monásticas del Tíbet, hasta el momento de la invasión de China en 1959, año en el que se exilia a la India.
Fue monje desde los once años, edad en la que empezó a memorizar numerosos textos para, posteriormente, adentrarse en el estudio de la filosofía y psicología budista. En 1976 obtuvo su graduación en el más alto grado, el de Gueshe Lharampa, con calificaciones sobresalientes.
Recibió numerosas enseñanzas de S.S. el XIV Dalai Lama y de sus dos tutores, Ling Rimpoché y S. S. Triyang Rimpoché, también de S.S. Kyabye Zemey Rimpoché, de Thayab Tobden Rimpoché y en especial de S.S. Zong Rimpoché, con quien tuvo una conexión muy estrecha y del que recibió numerosas transmisiones de Sutra y Tantra Secreto, tanto en Tíbet como en la India. Bajo la tutela de Song Rimpoché, Khen Rimpoché Tamding Gyatso realizó su adiestramiento tántrico, llevando a cabo numerosos retiros de distintas deidades de meditación.
Khen Rimpoché Tamding Gyatso es Guía Espiritual de varios centros en España desde el año 1987. En el año 2001 S.S. el Dalai Lama lo nombró Abad del Monasterio de Ganden Shartse en India y fue entronizado como Kempo el 15 de Diciembre de 2001.
Khen Rimpoche Tamding Gyatso was born in Kham (Tibet) in the year of 1926. He Studied at Ganden Shartse, one of the three main monastic universities in Tíbet, until the time of the Chinese invasion in 1959, when he went to India into exile.
He has been a monk from the age of eleven, when he started to memorize many texts in order to, later on, deepen into the study of the Buddhist Philosophy and Psychology. He graduates in 1976 with the highest degree, Geshe lharampa, and oustanding qualifications.
He has received many teachings by His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama and by his two tutors, Ling Rinpoché and S.H. Triyang Rinpoche, by S.H. Kyabye Zemey Rinpoche, by Thayab Tobden Rinpoche and specially by Sutra and Secret Tantra transmissions, both in Tíbet and in India. Under the tutorship of S.H. Zong Rimpoche, Khen Rinpoche Tamding Gyatso completed his Tantric training, performing many retreats about different meditational deities.
Khen Rimpoche Tamding Gyatso has been the Spiritual Guide of several centres in Spain since 1987. In 2001 H.H. the Dalai Lama named him Abbot of Ganden Monastery in India and was enthroned as Kempo on December the 15th of 2001.
堪仁波切湯定嘉措于一九二六年出生在西藏西康區。他曾經在甘丹薩濟寺佛學大學院修學，是西藏的三大寺佛學大學院之一。一九五九年中國入侵西藏的那一年，他逃亡去印度。
他十一歲出家了，當時己經開始背誦很多經和論，以方便以後深入研究佛教哲學和佛教心理學。一九七六月年他以卓越的成績獲得最高階級的格西拉讓巴的學位(佛教哲學 博士)，他曾經從尊者第十四達賴喇嘛和尊者的二位導師(林仁波切和墀江仁切)丶謝梅仁波切丶大楊多定仁波切和特別是尊者宋仁波切的教授。他和他們有着密切的關係，所以獲得了無數佛經和密續的傳承，在西藏和印度兩國。尤其是在宋仁波切的教授下，堪梭仁波切湯定嘉措完成了他密宗實踐，也開展了各種撤退神靈法會。
自從一九八七年開始嘉措湯定堪仁波切在西班牙是好几個中心的精神引導佛法尊者，但是於二〇〇一年第十四世達賴喇嘛任命他為印度的甘丹薩濟佛教寺院的主持人，于二〇〇一年十二月十五日正式上任。
