WRR will meet again at the Margaret Egan Center in Room 55 on Monday, July 11, 2016.
Lynn has provided us with the following information about this month's program:
Nancy Hammett will lead us through a fun evening of Nia (Non-Impact Aerobics). Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. It empowers people of all shapes, sizes, abilities and ages. Come join us for a fun filled evening of movement and expression.
Here's a little information about Nancy from her webpage. www.niafitness-ct.com
Nancy Hammett, Nia Brown Belt Teacher and Director, is the former owner of Sound Mind and Body of Milford, CT. She is one of approximately 3,000 Nia teachers in over 45 countries world-wide, and has studied Nia almost since its inception. She received her certification from Nia founders, Debbie and Carlos Rosas in 1999. She adds that expertise to a long list of recognized movement arts, including classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, ballroom and multi-cultural dance acrobatics, gymnastics, yoga and karate.
While the action committee has no formal collection this month, the food pantry stock always gets low in the summer month, so any donations of non-perishable food would be appreciated. This month any food collected will go to Beth-El in Milford.
Hope everyone had a joyous and safe 4th of July! See you soon!
