Due to renovation projects at Golden Hill Healthcare Center, May's WRR meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at Case Memorial Library, 176 Tyler City Road in Orange, CT.
The program will be a presentation by Marion Morra, curator of the Milford Art Council's permanent art collection, on the current restoration of murals created by the WPA. It should be very interesting. Here is a link to more information:

Our service project for the month is a diaper collection for the Connecticut Diaper Bank. Here is what our action committee spokesman, Debby Kasowitz, has to say: The high cost of diapers creates a hardship for families on limited income. The cost is not covered by food stamps or any other assistance program, yet families, if they wish to work, must provide them to child care providers. Having a sufficient quantity of diapers on hand is important to the child's health! As we all remember, numerous diaper changes during the course of a day are necessary to keep the child clean and comfortable.
Help ease the burden of these families by bringing a package of disposable diapers to our next meeting. Any brand, any size (the most needed are 5 and 6), and open packages are welcome.
Thanks, in advance, for your continued generosity.
