Our service project this month is an exciting one. The VFW post of Devon, CT contacted Debby K. about an annual event called the Day of Hospitalized Vets. This year it will be bigger than ever and will include many women veterans as well as men. The event will take place on May 7 in Rocky Hill. At the end of the event, each participant goes home with a goody bag. Since there will be more participants than ever, the VFW is reaching out to civic organizations to collect donations of books, games, puzzles, candy, toiletries, etc. so they will have ample supplies to fill the gifts. Thanks you in advanced for your continued generosity.
