(Weekly Wire 7-2-15) - Confidential - Trial Victory in New Jersey Superior Court - After a three-day trial, the New Jersey Superior Court awarded judgment in favor of our client, an emergency medicine technology firm, on its claims for breach of contract against its former marketing and sales “partner”, expressly rejecting our adversary’s legal defenses. Our client sued for breach of contract seeking monetary damages now due and owing and a declaration of entitlement to future damages to be collected on sales made during the term of the joint marketing agreement between itself and the defendant. Despite numerous delay tactics employed by the defendant, we were able to go to trial and win the case in under two years, a relatively short time in commercial litigation. Partner Scott Matthews and Counsel Rich Crooker represented the plaintiff in the lawsuit.

Certification may be available to businesses, which, as an initial threshold, are not less than 51% owned by members of a qualifying minority group or women, and where management is controlled by minorities or women.
