Wood Firing

Bill & Laurence have built a wood fired kiln, with a bit of help from their friends! It has been named after Woden, the Norse God of fire!

The team from the Ridgeway Potters Collective are now the main users of the kiln, together with other local potters.  

Most of Bill's pots are glaze fired in Woden, which produces a toasted look and feel to the surfaces.
