Did You Miss the Righteous Admonitions
"and is profitable {the Bible, of course} for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete..."  (II Timothy 3:16,17)

Since today in the churches of America, there is a noticeable absence of "correction" and "instruction in righteousness" (II Timothy 3:16,17), it is easy likewise to note that the reading of Scriptures that admonish righteousness, correction, and instruction in righteousness have been neglected.  It is easy to both overlook the large number of them and the required impact of them, because they are like proverbs of the New Testament, short and to the point.

There can be in America no righteousness without righteous church members.  Perhaps we can together start a revival, beginning at the center of our Christian lives, that will spread across the nation, a Revival of Righteousness.  Listed below are some of these righteous proverbs of the New Testament.

 1.  "...in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptible {yes, "Sound Living Is Sound Doctrine"}, sound speech {and sound speech is sound doctrine} that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you..."  (Titus 2:7,8)

2.  "...teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age..."  (Titus 2:12)
