Help construct Referendums
Aid the School Board in Decision Making
Reach out to area Businesses, Groups, and Organizations for input and guidance
Hire individuals who will lead the district forward
Consider dismissal, demotion, licensing, or discipline for those who do not uphold the district's mission/vision or with ethical/legal issues
Allow Due Process
Help Negotiate Insurance, Public, and Personal Contracts
Follow all School, Local, State, and National Policy/Laws

The well-being and success of students is the fundamental value in all decision making and actions.
Is honest, respectful, and has integrity.
Is responsible and accountable.
Understands the rights of all stakeholders, including, but not limited to, fundamental, legal, and civil rights.
Is guided by the authority of the school board and obeys local, state, and federal laws.
Informs and advises the school board and implements the board’s policies and administrative rules and regulations.
Helps form and correct policies by working with the school board and all stakeholders.
Does not use the position of authority inappropriately or for personal gain.
Encourages all staff to participate in professional development opportunities.
Maintains personal and professional standards that enhance the image of the school and the profession.
Creates teams and surrounds himself / herself with educated or experienced individuals to aid in the decision making process.
Encourages that decisions are supported with data and/or rationale.
Understands the well-being of others, before considering the well-being of himself / herself.
Understands that the public schools are public’s business and seeks to keep the public fully informed about their schools.
Embraces the community by incorporating curriculum that supports the area culture.
Models positive behaviors, including moral, ethical, emotional, and social intelligence.
