GET THE LEAD OUT

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has revised the Federal Code of Regulations of the Lead & Copper Rule. The EPA has determined that school children are especially vulnerable to lead poisoning and have a greater potential for permanent health problems, including brain and nervous system damage, impaired hearing, learning disabilities, and behavioral issues. The back of this letter has more information about lead in drinking water and a link to the EPA website on this subject. https://www.epa.gov/ground-water-and-drinking-water/basic-information-about-lead-drinking-water#health

To comply with this new regulation, TGW is tasked with verifying what type of pipe (the service line) is at the entry point of houses built prior to 1986. To accomplish this task, TGW will be sending its employees to each affected house to verify what type of pipe is at the entry point. This inspection will take place in the coming months, and the results recorded. This inspection will require one of our employees to go onto your property to perform the inspection. If you prefer, an inspection appointment day and time can be made. Please contact our office. The number is at the top of this page. If you would prefer to use "self-inspection" option, please fill out the form below and click the Submit button.
