In order to make use of the imagination, one
must become completely still. If you feel your
mind and emotions churning and darting about,
try this exercise to still yourself inside.
Choose a verse from The Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad,
one that seems to fit your situation. The verses of
The Shariyat are set in such a way that they
can attune you to a higher level of consciousness.
It is a good treatment against fear.
Repeat the verse over and over in your mind
until you feel it become a part of yourself. You
will feel your consciousness lifting and your
inner worlds become still and calm. You will
be able to consciously lift yourself to the point
that troubles are not a part of you and you can
see them objectively.
When you are able to rise above the situation
into a clear area of thought—where you no longer
see the parts but see the whole—then you can
rearrange the parts accordingly.
