Day 17 - Friday March 6th:

• • From those of you that did the close out yesterday, there was a majority that said you would like work time, so, let's get some stuff done!

  • Here's the list from yesterday:

    • STD packet with websites, then

    • Fill out double sided chart of the STDs.

    • Posters around the room of different types of birth control / contraception. There is a worksheet to go around a gather the information on.

  • Remember, these papers will be notes you can use on your Sex Ed Unit Test that will be in a few weeks. We will have more conversations about the STDs (as requested by some on the close out) and we are just getting started on the birth control / contraception methods. I just don't want you to think that I'm relying on just these worksheets to help you learn this material.

  • Close out on Google Form - For those of you that didn't do the anonymous survey yesterday, it's still on the close out. If you already did it, skip it and just hit done.

Day 16 - Thursday March 5th:

Ok, I saw a doctor and got x rays and some medication. Unfortunately, he told me I should take it easy till the end of the week because any slight wrong move can make it worse. John will be my sub today and tomorrow. Hopefully some of you will be on the field trip, but the close out today will ask how you would like to spend tomorrow if you don't go. Here's what I need to have happen today:

• • Continue working on STD packet with websites, then

  • Fill out double sided chart of the STDs.

  • If you finish that, there will be posters around the room of different types of birth control / contraception. There is a worksheet to go around a gather the information on.

  • Close out on Google Form - there is an additional survey linked at the bottom. Please take a few minutes to fill it out. That part is anonymous, and your honesty is appreciated.

Day 15 - Tuesday March 3rd:

I'm sorry I'm not there. I woke up Sunday morning not able to move my right arm. Any slight movement of my elbow away from my side is incredibly painful. I hope to be back soon. Thank you for your patience. Please be nice to my sub, Mr. Cullerton, When I get back, I'd like to do a quick discussion of the STD work, and then start in with birth control options.
