CONSIDERATION FOR OTHER WALKERS

o        THE GROUP WILL HAVE VARYING WALKING ABILITIES, PLEASE CONSIDER THOSE AT THE BACK OF THE PARTY. ROTATE THE FORWARD POSITIONS. LEADERS WILL SET A REASONABLE PACE FOR THE RAMBLE, CONSIDERING THE LEAST ABLE.

o      THE LEADER MAY VARY THE ROUTE, LENGTH etc OF THE RAMBLE ON THE DAY TO SUIT THE WEATHER AND GROUND CONDITIONS (BUT MAINTAINING THE SAME OR LESSER DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY THAT IS QUOTED IN THE PROGRAMME).

o          AS FAR AS IS PRACTICAL, WALKERS SHOULD STAY WITHIN SIGHT AND EARSHOT OF THE LEADER AND BACK MARKER.

o         FOR SAFETY REASONS, MEMBERS ARE DISCOURAGED FROM LEAVING A RAMBLE PART WAY. IF YOU MUST DO SO, THEN ADVISE THE LEADER AT THE ONSET.

o         IF YOU ARE FEELING UNWELL DURING THE RAMBLE, PLEASE INFORM THE LEADER/BACK MARKER AT ONCE. DO NOT SOLDIER ON.

o          IN THE INTERESTS OF SAFETY, THE LEADER MAY REFUSE TO ALLOW ON A RAMBLE ANYONE HE/SHE CONSIDERS NOT TO BE PROPERLY EQUIPPED.

o         PLEASE ACCEPT THE ADVICE AND DIRECTION OF THE LEADER, CONSIDER THE OTHERS IN THE GROUP AND MOSTLY ENJOY YOURSELF.
