This season we keep using the indoor courts of the "Sportgemeinde 1886" in Weiterstadt. The way to get there is here. More information on this tennis club can be found in the at the bottom of this web page.

The winter season runs from the 1st of October till the 30th of April.
Remember to complete also the registration to mySSCC website for the season, indicating the same dates
The ESOC tennis club has reserved the following hours for the whole season (adding an extra slot on Sunday and Thursday with respect to last season):
Tuesday 19:00-20:00 - Platz 5 => (Note: for the last 2 seasons the Weiterstadt coach made as swap to Platz 4 regularly)
Tuesday 19:00-20:00 - Platz 3 => typically used for trainings/lessons
Thursday 19:00-20:00 - Platz 4
Thursday 19:00-20:00 - Platz 5 => new for 2025/2026 season (added at the end of November)
Sunday 17:00-18:00 - Platz 5 => new for 2025/2026 season
Sunday 17:00-19:00 - Platz 5
In case of overbooking ( 4 consecutive slots booked by other players), contact the club-committee that can eventually reserve extra hours (based on availability in the Tennis Halle)
Lights are always NOT included, you need 2 EUR per hour. Bring coins to avoid waste of time for changing money.
Very important! : These indoor courts are carpet equipped, which means -as we are in Germany- you must have indoor tennis shoes with fully flat soles (=> absolutely no profile, otherwise they can stop you from playing)
COURTS BOOKING
The booking for this winter season will be managed with a Google Spreadsheet that is also shown in this web page.
In order to modify the spreadsheet and book a court you need write access . You will receive it after payment of the membership fee for this winter season. Please note the applicable rules for booking, indicated in the spreadsheet header.

We use carpet instead of clay: faster, not so comfortable but more consistent (no unexpected bouncing!) and much better for knees than hard surface, and... no need to sweep the court, no dirty shoes!
It is a hall, not a bubble: much better temperature control and air quality.
Showers and dressing rooms available.
There are other sports and leisure facilities around the tennis courts which can also be used (bistro, sauna area, fitness studio, exercise rooms, massage studio).
The club is located in Weiterstadt, Am Aulenberg 2-10, 64331 (~10 minutes from ESOC or EUMETSAT by car, see here)
