Election File

The Election File is where the votes and ballots are recorded. The final results of the election are also recorded here.

By the end of the tallying process, there will be only one Election File. However, during the process, there will be one Election File used by each of the computers where ballots are being entered. When all the ballots are entered, the Election Files need to be merged into the "main" Election File.
