Core App

The TallyJ core program is an "hta" application. This can run on any Windows computer simply by clicking on it. The first time you do, you may be asked to confirm whether it should be allowed to run.

This application has many functions:

• enter ballots

• setup Election Files

  • identify the type of election, names of tellers, etc.

  • merge election files

• setup Community Files

  • add / remove people to the list

• analyze the ballots and count the votes

  • determine who has been elected

  • identify tie break situations

• print reports

  • a number of reports are included in the core app

  • custom reports can be added
