Vision

TallyJ has been in use since about Ridván 2002.

Version 1 was developed for use with Windows 95, using diskettes to share Election Files. Over the years, more capabilities have been added. In 2010, the Announcer module was first used. The Reporter module is expected to be ready for initial use for Ridván 2011.

Version 2 is a total rewrite of the system, moving to a fully web-based tool, capable of supporting distributed elections where voters gather in multiple venues for a single election.
