Due to a change by Google from what it termed Classic sites to New sites, it became possible to incorporate all the separate sites  we had covering the campaign to protect the Talacre Sports Centre and its adjacent Town Green into this one site,

This is a considerable improvement for anyone following this campaign. However, it has meant much has been copied across from the Classic sites and much editing has been needed to avoid duplication and make it all consistent and readable. This new version may still be imperfect due to this background.

Within Camden Council, decisions, correspondence etc tends to be treated as either a Planning or a Land matter. Planning comes under Camden's Culture and Environment Directorate. Land under the Finance Directorate. In reality, Planning and Land cannot be totally separated. In this case, the agreement to sell the Travellers Site and Dalby Street was subject to there being a particular Planning Agreement. Separate sub pages are being created for correspondence that has involved "Chief Executive,  Legal, Land"; "Planning Officers"; and "Traffic Officers".

Documents, links etc related to Land are on the Sale of Land pages  (see sidebar on left). Those on Planning, particularly the Section 106 (s106) Agreements are on the Planning Documents incl s106s page. Freedom of Information requests where responses have been received are shown under Freedom of Information Requests (FOIs).

On 25.1.10 Camden refused to provide responses to 7 FOI requests on the grounds requests submitted have been "vexatious". Those requests are on the page FOI requests refused as "vexatious"

The Council consisting of elected members and its various committees are responsible for making decisions on the sale of Land and on Planning matters. The meetings, resolutions, reports and so on are on the Council Meetings and Resolutions page.

The pages shown on the sidebar also take you directly or indirectly to Public Inquiry Documents, Sport England and some Other Documents and links.

There is likely to be correspondence etc on file going back many years that contains information relevant to matters under discussion today. On a private site, it will be given without alteration. Where there is a risk of defamation being claimed or some similar reason for deleting some text, the unexpurgated version will appear there.
