SMBE2016@Gold Coast

I attended SMBE (Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution) 2016 from 3rd to 7th July at Gold Coast, Australia. This was my first trip to Australia. I made poster presentation in there and could see many stimulative good researches. Though my achievement is still small, I have thought of some bright ideas for my next works.

Gold Coast and Australia are very beautiful city and country. I was so impressed. As shown in the photo there is beautiful beaches in Gold Coast. Every morning during the meeting, I enjoyed running around the beach and very sophisticated city. I also joined a private tour with my colleagues and finally could see the indigenous animals to Australia!

7月3日から7日にかけてオーストラリア・ゴールドコーストで開催されたSMBE2016に参加してきました。今回の大会では私自身はポスター発表をし、多くの良い仕事からたくさんの刺激を受けることが出来ました。私自身の研究はまだまだ小さい仕事ですが、この先の仕事として良いアイデアが浮かんできました。

ゴールドコーストもオーストラリア自体もとても美しい場所で（人も優しい人が多かった）、とても印象深い旅になりました。ゴールドコーストは写真にあるようにとても綺麗な砂浜があります。学会会期中は毎朝海岸の周りと高級住宅街をランニングしてリフレッシュしていました。最後は動物園に現地の動物の視察に行き、コーストラリアの固有種を初めて見ることができました。
