13 September 2012, Tagbilaran City - Three Grade 1 students from Dao Elementary school were professionally screened by Dr. Eumere Malalis after they were screened and found by the members of the Tagbilaran City Host Lions Club to have eyesight measure of 20/40 and above. Dr. Malalis found that the three students were needing corrective measures for their eye disorders and prescribed glasses for Riza Castro and Greslyn Pilayre. The Grade one students were accompanied by Dao Elementary Principal Evangeline Canda and brought to the Sarigumba-Malalis Optical clinic by Lions Ammon Tirol and Sight for Kids chair Arman Maranga.
