Eye Screening at Cabawan Elementary 2007 Aug 23

In connection with the Sight Saving Month celebration which is August of every year, the Tagbilaran City Host Lions Club headed by Lion President FELY LIM conducted last Thursday, August 23, 2007, a free Vision Screening Project to the 184 pupils in Cabawan Elementary School (Grade 1- Grade VI). Together with the President were Lion Edna Malalis (an Optometrist), Lion Eumere Malalis ( also an Optometrist), Lion Velma Lim, Lion Ammon Tirol, Lion Myrna Saturinas and Lion George Lim. Those students with high refractive errors will be provided with a free prescription eyeglasses by the Tagbilaran City Host Lions Club International to help eliminate preventive blindness and to recognize the need to preserve good eyesight. The Lions were welcome by the Principal Mrs. Ellen I. Canda and the Faculty members of the Cabawan Elementary School.
