A new Lions Club was formed in Talibon, Bohol last June 17, 2012 thru its Mother Lions Club, the Tagbilaran City Host Lions Club headed by its President Lion George T. Lim, MJF and Lion Erico Aumentado, MJF,PP who is the present Congressman in the second district of Bohol.
The “CPG Talibon Lions Club” had its name after the Talibonanon President of the Philippines Carlos P. Garcia. Former Mayor Juanario A. Item was elected President. 1st Vice Pres.- Aveleo Credo, 2nd Vice Pres.- Alejandro Estopa, Secretary- Kim B. Auza, Treasurer-Adrianne C. Amba, Tamer- Concordio Evangelista, Tail Twister – Joel G. Crescencio, PRO – Godelio P. Auxtero, B.O.D. – Carlito Evangelista, Felix B. Evangelista, Sr. and Noemi T. Vilmoria. Members: Erico Aristotol C. Aumentado, Danilo V. Autentico, Ambrosio Buala, Enrico Carpio, Lorenzo R. Flores, Clito Garcia, Demetrio Item, Panfilo Sumalinog and Fernando Q. Taneo. There are twenty chartered members of the new club.
The Induction Ceremony Of CPG Talibon Lions Club was held at Talibon Pension House with Lion DG Climaco Evangelista, MJF as the Guest of Honor. The theme was: “I Believe” every Lion makes a difference…
District Governor Lion Climaco Evangelista, MJF, inducted the new set of Officers while Lion Erico Aumentado, MJF, PP did the charging of the chartered member. The Lion District Governor presented to the club thru its President Lion Juanario Item a Club Banner and large set of Gong and Gavel as compliments from the newly elected District Governor Manolo Lao, MJF who is also a Talibonanon. Lion Erico Aumentado donated to the chartered member’s poloshirts with lion logo which they could wear while waiting for their lion chalicos to be finished. The chartered club received also a total of P 20,000 seed money for club projects from Lion George Lim, Lion Erico Aumentado, DG Climaco Evangelista and DG elect Manolo Lao.
The following members of the Tagbilaran City Host Lions Club who attended the affair were Lion Fely Lim, Lion Neria Lingues, Lion Priscilla Richards, Lion Leo Plazos and Lion Dondon Acuña.
The new officers and members include President-Juanario A. Item, 1st Vice President- Aveleo Credo, Vice President-Alejandro Estopa, Treasurer-Adrianne C. Amba, Secretary-Kim B.
