Richard MacRae Warren, Sr., 86 of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.Dick shared a fulfilled life with his loving wife, Deborah K. Warren, enjoying golf, their families and worshipping together at First Presbyterian Church, Naples, FL where he relished serving as a Stephen minister and Deacon. His personality and congenial nature was only eclipsed by his kindness and humble consideration of others.

Mr. Warren was born in Jacksonville, FL on August 10, 1927, to the late Walter and Marguerite Warren. Dick was an ardent supporter of the University of Alabama where he attended and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. After college, he served in the US Army Air Corps. In early adulthood, Mr. Warren developed a passion for golf and was member of Royal Palm Country Club, Pine Valley Golf Club and Plainfield Country Club where he served as President. He was involved in community service throughout his life and served on the boards at Visiting Nurse Association and Hillside Cemetery Association in Plainfield, NJ.

He is survived by six children; Richard Warren Jr., of Pinehurst, NC; William Warren, of Lexington, SC; John Warren, of Memphis, TN; Stephen Putnam, Haddam, CT; Jonathan Putnam, Cromwell, CT; and Lisa Chasko, East Haddam, CT. He was preceded in death by his late son Dwight Warren, of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a group of close friends.
