My Triang DMUs

I have two Triang 3 car DMUs which I am converting to 14.2mm gauge and improving. I have used a Bullant motor bogie in one of them and a Geoff Helliwell motor bogie in the other. I plan to replace the 10.5mm diameter wheels with more accurate 9mm wheels.

I have fitted an ESU LokSound v3.5 sound decoder in the DMU with the Bullant bogie. The other has an ESU LokSound v5 with a Coastal DCC sound project.

This is my first attempt at publishing a Youtube video from my Amazon Fire. The background noise from the start is my 3D printer. I think the flickering may be due to my fluorescent lights. The lighting and sound need to be improved. I will replace it in time.

No further progress but I produced this for another purpose.

I modified 2 DMUs for 14.2. The LH one is a Bullant bogie supported on 2 brass angles. The RH one is one of Geoff's with a spacer brass block fitted above it. The black lump to the right of the brass block is additional weight.
