Topic: RFID Applications in Packaging Industry: an efficient tool to expedite Logistics Processes and comply with W-Mart’s RFID mandate requirements.
Abstract: With our “Collaborative Design” platform for RFID smart box, we are able to expedite customers’ Logistics Processes through quotations, RFID box design, test including convey and dock door test that help customers to comply with W-Mart’s RFID mandate requirements. We have developed the first RFID application in Packaging Industry and become the first solutions provider for RFID Smart Box in Taiwan.
In the speech, Steve is going to demonstrate how you can achieve the above goals by utilizing our services ranging from RFID Carton Design to RFID Carton Integrated Test to expedite Logistics Processes and comply with RFID mandate requirements from world wide retailers, such as W-Mart, Metro and Best Buy. In addition, Steve will use SCOR (Supply Chain Operational Reference Model) to evaluate business values of such RFID implementations.
Case study will be given in packaging design for intelligent PDA illustrating how we improve the RFID read rate through smart box design and how we conduct the full field tests to comply with W-Mart mandate requirements to avoid merchandise return from customers.
