One of the most successful and dominant drivers in the history of unlimited hydroplanes. He had nickname "Mr. Unlimited". He had 62 victories between 1958-1981. He was named national driver of the year seven times by the APBA. He was killed in last race of 1981 World Championship in Accapulco (Mexico) being leader of the race.
