First race 1988

Started in national junior class SJ-15 invented by his father and got Finnish national champion title in this class 1990. Sami still supports class in Finland and boats have his F1-team colouring.

1991 joined F4 class as youngest ever driver in World championship.

First F1 years were pain for Sami with trying use Johnson engine - quick but unreliable.

First two titles in F1 (2007 and 2010) he "stole" from other. Three races before end of the season nobody believes that Sami can win title. He still did it!

Lives on Tenerife. Uses mainly BaBa boats. Team Red Devil, Mad-Croc.

Got title "The Best Driver in Nordic Countries" 2010.

Very quick in time trials. 14 pole positions with 11 race wins (situation 2010).
