Other CEF Units

The South Alberta Light Horse perpetuates numerous battalions of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.  Many of the perpetuations were a result of the numerous amalgamations and re-structures conducted by the Canadian Government between 1920 and the current day.

In addition to the 31st Battalion, the 19th Alberta Dragoons, and the 3rd Canadian Mounted Rifles, the following CEF units are perpetuated by the SALH:

• The 9th (Edmonton Fusiliers) Battalion, CEF

• The 66th (Edmonton Guards) Battalion, CEF

• The 113th (Lethbridge Highlanders), CEF

• The 138th (Edmonton) Battalion, CEF

• The 175th (Medicine Hat) Battalion, CEF

• The 187th (Central Alberta) Battalion, CEF

• The 202nd (Edmonton Sportsmen) Battalion, CEF 

• The 12th Canadian Mounted Rifles, CEF

• The 13th Canadian Mounted Rifles, CEF
