Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)

music can be streamed from a mobile phone and many other compliant A2DP devices.

I have tested this with my iphone 3g using a pair of Motorola HT820 headphones.

This works very well. Clear Stereo Channels. When a phone call comes in the iphone plays the ringtone associated with the contact ringing you.

Once the call is ended the music carries on from the last position.

W7 does not have any A2DP profiles and support available via third party software as far as I can tell.

Apple Macs supported A2DP since Leopard OS.
