Bows come in three tiers. Points are given to distribute among stats at each tier of bow.
Quincys start with a standard 12 point bow. The stats are explained below.
Bow tiers are acquired for each 50 points put into Quincy Bow.
Tier 1: 12 points, 1 point arrow type
Tier 2: 20 points, +3 arrow type
Tier 3: 30 points, +5 arrow type
Tier 4: 35 points: +8 arrow type
tier 5: God bow (maxed): +10 arrow type
Quincy bows are capable of variations on arrows. However, there is a maximum to the variation per bow. This is also explained. Examples are also included:
There is a maximum of ten in each stat overall. Tier 1’s may only spend up to 6 points in a single stat, teir 2’s 8 points, and tier 3’s ten.
Arrow types, and cost:
Each tier bow gets to pick a type of arrow that it may fire (or multiple types). Tier 1’s get 1 point to spend here, tier 2’s 3, tier 3’s, 5. The cost is cumulative per arrow (thus, you may spread them around, or max in one arrow)
These are automatic, and don’t require feats. Feats may give similar skills, but these may be automatically done with the bow without preparation
Stat explanations of bows:
Rate of fire:
Note: rate of fire may not exceed 1/5th continuous fire past rank 4. (balancing factor)
Accuracy:
Maximum range for an inaccurate arrow is 1.5x optimal range
Suggested: always put at least one point in this. My Nerf gun has an optimal range of 5m.
Continuous Fire:
Damage:
Damage is split into two parts, with a max of five in each. Length/size, and density.
Derived stat: Speed! Rate of fire * accuracy* 10 = speed of arrow in m/s. (slower than the fastest rifle bullet, but damned fast)
