Mark Anderson

Mark Anderson holds the BS in Architectural Studies and the MS in Civil Engineering (structures option) from Washington State University, obtaining his SE in 1980.

He has practiced structural engineering since 1975, and in 1981 founded the firm of Mark Anderson and Associates, which in 1992 evolved into Anderson-Peyton Structural Engineering Consultants located in Federal Way. In 2012 he established AndersonChase, PS, Inc, a structural engineering corporation located in Lakewood.

Mark’s design experience includes timber, masonry, concrete, steel, light gauge steel, and complex composite materials used in multiple combinations. Mark has extensive experience in cost-effective structural solutions for new construction as well as existing structural rehabilitation.

His SEAW service also includes terms on the state Board as Director 2010 and Secretary 2009.
