About

"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing." -Albert Einstein

Welcome to the Children's Library!

The Children's Library, a state-of-the-art school library serving the community at the Lower School, opened in December 2011. The library is an addition to the existing Steward Building and features a computer lab, flexible work spaces for individuals, groups, and various modes of instruction, and plenty of space and resources for students to utilize and explore. Generous donations have made the Children's Library possible.

The Children's Library strives to nurture children's love of reading and pursuit of lifelong learning. It also supports the teachers and curricula at the Lower School through the provision of resources and instruction.

Carmen Flora has been the school librarian at the Children's Library since 2011. She is a graduate of the School of Information at the University of Michigan and a lifelong learner. She loves reading, art, learning, asking questions, and sunshine.
