Where: Carmichael Library

When: 4:00 - 5:00 pm

For: Those nearing retirement, or having excess sick leave days to cash in to a VEBA account

What is VEBA: VEBA is a fund that can be used to defer medical costs. Sick leave can be cashed out at retirement into your account, or can be cashed in to it when you have more than 180 days of sick leave. A yes vote grants REA members access to this investment, is binding to everyone who wishes to cash out during this school year, and requires an annual vote of those present at the meeting.

Jaron Tietsort, a representative from VEBA. will make a short presentation and answer your questions.
