CLOSE PROGRAM - http://www.columbus.gov/close
Description
Striping is performed according to the pavement marking drawings in the Plan Sets. The only exception to the plans are at ADA ramp locations that are create a change in the crosswalk location on unresurfaced side streets. All striping must be completed within 21 days of paving. The contractor will pre-mark the street with a layout in chalk prior to the permanent markings, and at this time the traffic department will provide a loop layout. Preform markings must be performed prior to the asphalt rejuvenating agent being sprayed. The only method for removal of striping is waterblasting, not grinding. For items that pay in miles, try to measure the distance to three decimal places.
