Reach Your Neighborhood with Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books
Carla and I always like to lead by example. We tried something new to reach out to people in our neighborhood.
When the weather permits, Carla and I walk around our neighborhood for about 1 hour each day. It is a 3 mile walk.
While on one of these walks, I heard the Lord say: “Take a Real Life Stories book to every house in the neighborhood.”
On another walk I heard, “Put a hand written note in each book”. On other walks I heard,
“More details about what the hand written note was to say.” Read the details of the note
below. Attached is a copy of Lighthouse 6, read it so you know what these people will be
receiving. It will help you to pray with more understanding! Think about how you might
feel if this book landed on your door step, especially if you were in the middle of one of
Life’s Many Storms:
Hello Neighbor!
We are Jim and Carla Barbarossa. You may have seen us walking around the neighborhood a time or two. We are
co-authors of this book of “Hope”. You can read our stories on pages 28 and 32. You can see our pictures on the
back of the book in the bottom right hand corner. After reading the book, if you would like to have extra copies to
give hope to family, friends or co-workers just ask and we’ll drop them off at your house. We often pray as we walk
through the neighborhood. If you need prayer for anything please contact us! Every other month we hold a Faith based
meeting at our home and we invite you to join us. It is on Saturday nights, 6:30 P.M. on these dates : August 4, 2018,
October 6,2018, December 1, 2018, February 2, 2019 and April 6, 2019.

We then placed each book in a zip lock bag to protect it from the weather and deliver to every neighbor’s door
I believe this “God Idea” can work in every neighborhood!!
