Today our bird feeder was graced by a bird that we have not seen for some time, a greenfinch. Greenfinch populations crashed in 2006 when they succumbed to Trichomonosis.
Trichomonosis is the name given to a disease caused by the protozoan (single celled) parasite Trichomonas gallinae. (12th December 2019)
