Teaching and Learning Support Community of Practice
Purpose
The purpose of the Teaching and Learning Support Community of Practice is to:
To monitor the environment to identify emerging issues and trends in teaching and learning support relevant to QULOC libraries.
To provide a forum for benchmarking and the exchange of information on good practice, resources and strategies relating to teaching and learning support.
To offer suggestions for QULOC professional development topics or activities to the University Librarians Committee.
To communicate and collaborate with other QULOC Communities of Practice and Practitioner Groups on matters of shared interest.
To advise and make suggestions to the University Librarians Committee on teaching and learning support issues relevant to QULOC.
Membership
This Community of Practice is open to all staff from QULOC libraries. If you would like to get involved, please contact the convenor, speak to your existing local member - listed below - or contact: quloc.exec.officer@gmail.com
Meeting Schedule
The Teaching and Learning Support Community of Practice meets 3-4 times per year.
Reporting Schedule
After each meeting, a brief record of the meeting discussion, potential strategic priorities or events and other items of interest will be provided using the Community of Practice Meeting Reporting Padlet. The padlet will be available to all QULOC members to read. An annual report is provided to the last University Librarians Committee meeting of the year.
