4.2 Traditional Templates

For Encounters where movement is mandatory (Marrow/Putri/LK):

We will add Arcane Barrage to give you some opportunities to change location.

On the Sindragosa Encounter (with a Hpal - with upgraded Concentration):

57/3/11 Do not forget to use your Frost Ward every 30 secondes to gain a spell power proc. 

On a extremly Static Encounter (All other ICC bosses):

It's possible to do not take Arcane Barrage, in order to place this point in another place of the arcane build. I don't recommend it but a very good player can take advantage about it. But warning, doing any movement during the fight will cost you a lot !

4.3 Key Talents

4.3.1 Arcane Focus & Precision

These talents lower your hit cap with your arcane spells by 6% and rest of your spells by 3%.

If you are a Fire Blast user do not forget you have not the same hit cap on it ! 

4.3.2 Magic Absorption

"Increases all resistances by X per level and causes all spells you fully resist to restore Y% of your total mana. 1 sec cooldown." (X;Y) = (0.5;1) or (1;2)

So 1/2 gives you 0.5*80=40 on all resistances and 1% manaback.

2/2 gives you 80 an all resistances and 2% manaback.

The point of this talent is the survivability it gives to you. Not regarding huge damage (like the one you will take if you missplay on Sindragosa for example), but on minor damage such as puddles of slimes on Professor Putricide. When you will be on a regular raid in which you will be confident about your healer, you will be more able to stay in these puddles for a while, in order to do not break your rotation. That will give you an good advantage in terms of dps. 

4.3.3 Magic Attunement

"Increases the range of your Arcane spells by X yards and the effect of your Amplify Magic and Dampen Magic spells by Y%." (X;Y) = (3;25) or (6;50)

This talent will drastically reduce your need to move !

4.3.4 Student of Mind

"Increases your total Spirit by X%"  (X = 4,6 or 10)

It will give you more spirit, means a bit more mana regeneration and a bit more crit via Molten Armor.

4.3.5 Incanter's Absorption

"When your Mana Shield, Frost Ward, Fire Ward, or Ice Barrier absorbs damage your spell damage is increased by X% of the amount absorbed for 10 sec." (X=5,10 or 15)

Combined with your Frost or Fire Ward, it can give you an important spell buff every 30 seconds.

4.3.6 Arcane Barrage

"Launches several missiles at the enemy target, causing 386 to 470 Arcane damage."

This instant spell gives you a GCD to move but consumes your Arcane Blast stacks. Use it wisely !
