1. Leveling up as Frost mage
This section is currently under a creation process .... I may add some explanations of my choices soon or later
Here I will share you the leveling spec I recommend for each 10 levels steps. As a frost mage. If you are a beginner and you are farming mobs one by one
If you are a more advanced player you can go for that spec in order to aoe grinding mobs in larger packs
Level 10 to 20 : you are preparing your aoe build meanwhile waiting to learn Blizzard (do not take frostbite ! it will desynchronize some mobs from your packs)
Level 21 to 30 : you improve yet the snaring effect of you blizzard
Level 31 to 40 : you go asap for your ice barrier
Level 41 to 50 : you go asap for your Water Elem to got an addionnal frost nova (which is also long range), and you choose the option of a third frost nova happening when the mobs reach and hit you !
Level 51 to 60 : you take one point into brain freeze 5% proc chance could be enough to proc once during a full channeling of blizzard on a pack larger than 5 mobs, this way you get an instant free frostfire bolt meanwhile you are building distance to the snared pack of mobs. to take Chilled to the bone and decrease even more your snared targets speed you complete Improved Cone of Cold and get points into piercing ice which is a net damage improve, and with your last points after Chilled to the bone you start leveling you arcane tree your main goal is Torment of the weak
Level 61 to 70 : in first line only Arcane Focus matter meanwhile it reduce your mirror images cost and your arcane explosion (which you can use rank 1 when mobs get close to get clearcasting, technic also name "clearcasting fishing") in order to get a free blizzard. on second line obviously you want to get clearcasting for the mana reduction, on third line you start with Magic Attunemant also in order to facilitate clearcasting fishing
Level 70 to 75 : you go as much as you can into torment of the weak
Level 75 to 80 : you complete Torment of the weak and improve a bit your efficiency into frost damages espeacilly by adding burst with icy veins
These specs must be change at level 80 whenever you are playing PvP or PvE,they are not optimized for a lvl 80 player. It's just the most useful way to spend your points in order to do quests and survive while you are leveling up.
