3- General Numbers

Note: In order of importance:

  • Most Important Cap to reach : Hit

  • Most Important Statistics : Hit>Spellpower>Haste>Crit>Spirit>Intelligence

3.1 Hit Cap:

11% (289pts) will give you 100% chance to it a hostile NPC lvl 83 (such as bosses), thanks to the talents Precision and Arcane Focus in your build.

10% (263pts) will be enough if you have a dreinei in your group (he give you 1% hit chance).

8% (210pts) will be enough if you have a Balance Druid or a Shadow Priest in your raid (they give you 3% by debuffing the target).

7% (184pts) will be enough if you have both a Balance Druid (or a Shadow Priest) and a dreinei with you.

3.2. Spell Power:

No maximum here just try to have how much you can. And remember this is your primary statistic, your most powerful one. It's the second most important after your Hit rating.

To give you an idea :

  • Low Gear- try to reach 3000 when you are full spell procs

  • High Gear- try to have 3000 without any procs.

  • With Best In Slot Gear- I will have 3394 (right now I have 3381).

3.3. Haste Cap:

I would say the minimum at low gear is to reach 610 Haste Rating

And a good score to reach End geared is about 1400.

3.4 Crit Cap

Arcane Specialisation has a naturally high Crit chance, especially through the Arcane Potency Talent.

It's not relevant to increase this chance.

Assure you take SP Haste Hit items until you reach your Hit Cap and then take SP Haste Crit items, and let your Crit grow with your gear.

3.5 Theorycraft Values

3.5.1 Hit Rating.

1% Hit = 26.232 Hit Rating (Only for spellcasters)

3.5.2 Crit Rating.

+45.91 Crit = + 1% Crit chance

Crit Chance = (Intelligence / 166.6667) + 0.91 + (Crit Rating / 45.91)

3.5.3 Haste Rating.

1% Spell Haste = 32.79 Haste Rating (Precisely : 32.78998947)

Casting Time = Base Casting Time / (1+(% Spell Haste/100))

% Spell Haste = ((1.5 / GCD) - 1) * 100

3.5.4 Intelligence

166.66 Int. = 1% crit

3.5.5 Spirit

55% of your spirit can be added to you Crit rating by the glyphed Molten Armor.

3.6 Spell Power Scaling.

AB Damage = ((1256 to 1460) + (80.43% of the Spell Power)) *(Talents) [With Arcane Empowerment]

Arcane Missiles Damage = (360+(37.57% of the Spell Power) +360+(37.57% of the Spell Power) + 360+(37.57% of the Spell Power) +360+(37.57% of the Spell Power) + 360+(37.57% of the Spell Power))) *(Talents) [With Arcane Empowerment]

Arcane Barrage Damage = ((936 to 1144) + ( 71.43% of the Spell Power) ) *(Talents)

Spells Critical Strike = Damage * (150%(+50% via [Spell Power] talent) )
