Prairie Ridge Homeowner’s Association Meeting Minutes
Board Members Present: Todd Loseke, Franklin Choutka, Tom Beckenhauer, John Larreau, and Mark Mason

Business
Present board members introduced themselves and how long they have been on the board.
Todd reviewed the recent activity of the association and the past year. Also announced the homeowners association website, minutes, insurance for the association.
Tom reviewed the current financial report and what expenses that occurred the past year. Todd reviewed the issue of tree removal when the board reassembled, the cost of maintenance of concrete repair, and insurance. Since dues had not been assessed in the previous years, Todd explained the build up of funds the last two years and the present condition of the budget.
Todd discussed the possibility of growing new trees in the commons area.
Question about North Hills development needing to clean up area behind one homeowners house. Todd and homeowner agreed that they would discuss it after the meeting to see what they can do to get North Hills to address the issue.
Covenant violations were discussed and what the board has approved for policy and enforcement. Homeowners have been asked to bring issues to the board to be addressed. Board will address an complaint that does violate current covenants.
Todd asked homeowners to feel free to view the website, provide feedback to the board, and informed homeowners that the Neighborhood News that is sent out on a regular basis. Todd discussed the garage sale weekend, signs that were put up, ad placed on Craigslist.
Discussed city proposal for 14th and Superior. Todd informed homeowners that the proposal will be brought to the city board sometime soon, but a schedule has not been set yet.
Nominations were asked and accepted for board positions the coming year (2010-2011). Ken Snyder and Travis Payne stated that they would be interested and nominated. John Larreau and Mark Mason will not continue to serve on the homeowners association. A motion to approve the list of candidates was made, seconded and unanimously approved.
