G&T with a Twist - Golf Fitness
'If you ain't got that Swing'
Golf is a game for people of all shapes and sizes. It can be as competitive as you want it to be or just a relaxing and sociable pastime. While most professional golfers condition and train for the rigours of the ProTour, many amateur and recreational golfers will benefit from specific training to both improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.
Regardless to whether you are a 'Fair weather' golfer or low handicapper, you will benefit from the planned training regime of G&T with a Twist, developed to improve your flexibility, strength and aerobic fitness.
Strength & Flexibility Training
Weights, cable and band resistance are used to improve leg, shoulder and grip strength and also flexibility and rotation of the spine & hips. These upper body strength exercises will improve your swing.
Core Strength and Stability Training
Improve abdominal strength, stability and trunk flexibility to help support your back while in the swing motion, improving your golf swing and preventing injury.
Balance Training
Give yourself a good foundation. Training techniques using foam rollers, stability (Swiss ball) and B.O.S.U. will improve your balance for your swing.
Injury Prevention
Strengthen your back, shoulders, forearms, hips, legs and core to prevent injuries.
